Solves the repeated "found new hardware" at boot-up problem in XP Pro'. I know this sounds mad, but Samsung sent me this driver,, but it is for a lexmark, but it definitely DOES work, and it cured the problem. The latest XP Driver on the Samsung page (and included above)(ver 3.04) claims to be for XP but although the printer works, many users find that XP finds it as new at every logon. Just pretend you have a Lexmark E210, say "have disk", and it will look in the folder it made on unzipping, and say that the printer is on LPT1 (or wherever your Samsung is), and rename it on your printer . | |
