Windows 95/98 drivers for the NEC Silentwriter 97. After downloading, double-click the file to start the extraction program. Accept the default unzip folder (C \NEC97-9x) then click the UNZIP button. Files will be written to this folder on your hard drive. Now Click the ADD PRINTERS icon in the printer wizard box. Select NEC from the manufacturers . Then select NEC Silentwriter 95 from the list in the right window. When Windows prompts you to insert the Windows 95 installation disk, just point to the folder where you unzipped these files to (C \NEC97-9x) and continue til finished. Even tho these files are from the Windows 98SE installation disk, they will work in Windows 95 by using this procedure. | |
