LaserWriter Select series is a

LocalTalk device and not a serial

device although it hooks up to the

printer port as well. Put this file into

the Printer Descriptions folder then

download the LocalTalk Bridge 2.1

software from Apple

The bridge is a control panel which

will allow you to use your

LaserWriter 8 chooser extension to

see your 4/600 in your default zone.

You'll also have the option of

sharing it with others on your

network by making it public instead

of private.
